Wine Throughout human history, wine has been a celebratory libation enjoyed in both social and religious celebrations and traditions. For centuries wine has been savored for luxury, festivity, and religious purposes. Wine was historically thought to have healing qualities and red wine is confirmed to be good for heart health. Although not all civilizations drank wine for recreation, almost every world culture has a wine history whether used as beverage or medicine. In my life, wine is ideal for festivity, fun, and at times, as medicine. This fact alone makes wine the ideal gift for any gathering. Anytime I need a gift when visiting a friend’s home, as a housewarming present, or in order to say “thank you,” wine is my first choice. Wine is not only a fashionable gift, but it’s easy to pair with appetizers, meals, and desserts. Enjoyed in high class society, wine pairings and tastings are a great way to network and spend time with friends. What a great opportunity to socialize and learn a few things as well! Recently, I found myself in charge of planning out a rather large social event. In all the mess of making arrangements, I forgot to notify one of the event sponsors of a change in date. The day before the event, we realized the error when I answered a phone call from the sponsor. As a consequence of the misunderstanding, they were unable to take part in the event and had blocked time out of their schedule for nothing. My immediate response in apology was to send the sponsor a wine and cheese basket from Baskets By Rita. For $150 I was able to send them a basket loaded with an assortment of red and white wines, cookies, an assortment of cheeses, smoked salmon, gourmet crackers, summer sausage, olives, dried fruits, caramel corn, candy, snack mix, fine chocolates, mixed nuts, and more. I thought that this would be a gift that could be shared among all of their employees and I hoped it would convey my apologies for the mix up. I would endorse a Baskets By Rita wine basket for any occasion for which wine is suitable. Whether you need to say thank you, send a housewarming gift, apologize, or present a gift when visiting a friend, Baskets By Rita has the right wine basket like Champagne Gift Basket for the occasion. This Chandon Blanc de Noirs Champagne gift basket has something for everyone. Includes gourmet olives, smoked salmon, wheat crackers, wine cheese spread, Colorado fruit jam, almonds, pistachios, chocolate biscottis, Rocky Mountain salsa, tortilla chips, Colorado tea, Starbucks Coffee,Cookies, assorted milk and dark chocolate truffles. Budweiser in A Basket With Food
Along side cool weather comes loaded comfort foods and fragrant seasoning. Think of your favorite seasonal snacks: gingerbread, hot toddies, Bailey's and coffee, hot chocolate, and pumpkin pie. Each of these share the warm, spiced aroma that we often associate with the holiday season. As the seasons turn into fall, bake shops and coffee shops bring back their seasonal menu items. On a crisp, cold day, nothing curbs a craving such as a mug of hot chocolate or a warm cinnamon scone. As we typically think of sweets and warm beverages when we think of seasonal foods, another favorite that springs to mind is seasonal beers. While a coffee lover may anticipate the return of their favorite pumpkin spice latte, a beer lover might wait patiently for the return of their favorite pumpkin ale. In 2008, seasonal beers were the top selling craft beer in the country. There is surely something to be said for the effect seasonal food and beverages may have on our holiday spirit. The notion of beer and food pairing is particularly appropriate with holiday and seasonal beers, since they are often seasoned differently than their year round alternatives. To learn the best way of pairing seasonal beers, it is important to know the different kinds that are offered. Oktoberfest beers are normally aged and as a result retain a robust taste. These pair best with beefy meat dishes such as steak and potatoes. Harvest ales are created with seasonal spices and ingredients. These bold aromas pair well with the bold, rich foods the holidays are best known for. I’m sure you can place a few bets as to which foods pair well with a pumpkin beer. Pumpkin is really a very neutral ingredient and lends itself to making for a good ale or lager. These beers pair well with lighter meats such as pork and chicken along with seasonal vegetables such as corn and squash. It also pairs well with pumpkin pie. At Baskets By Rita we know a few things about pairing good beers with fancy foods. Any of our seasonal beer baskets come with a variety of cheese, crackers, chocolates, and sausages paired to ignite your taste buds. Take for example our Budweiser Beer Gift Basket. This buds could be for your recipient. Here is a beer gift basket filled with Budweiser beer, America's favorite along with a wonderful selection of All American favorites. We have included a 6 pack of Budweiser beer, American beer cheese, crackers, buttered popcorn, chocolate sunflower seeds, Jelly Belly candies, chips, salsa, pretzels, beef jerky, happy hour snack mix and more. This beer basket is a great gift for a man. . If you would like to give a unique, customized person this holiday season, why not consider sending a beer basket? I can’t imagine a better treat for cuddling up by the fire and indulging in good foods than cracking open a cool, Oktoberfest beer and taking in the joy and warmth of the season. Happy holidays! If you found this article inspirational or know of someone else who may find it helpful, please don’t hesitate to pass it on via email, Facebook, or Twitter. Commerce or no commerce on Valentine's day
Create Love Without Commerce Love is in the air and in the Chocolate around the middle of February. Every Valentine’s Day it would seem like people give the identical thing. A box of chocolates, a cheesy teddy bear, bath products, sexy undies, jewelry, it’s all totally predictable! While many people wouldn’t complain about receiving a gift from someone they love, there must be more personal ways of exhibiting your love and affection. If you feel like your gifts are becoming gushy from year to year and you want to step it up a notch, why not make something yourself that says that you took the time to create something that comes from your heart. Not only will this mean more, but it will be unique and genuinely show your feelings in a way that no greeting card can. Here are some ideas that will show you really care. You could Write out a list of all the things you love about them. This can be as long or short as you like. You can format it as a list, a poem, or even sing it to them if you have any musical talent. Leave it next to a vase of flowers or on the bed in a pile of roses, you decide how you want to present it. Everyone likes to be reminded of why they are loved and this is the perfect way to tell them. These are great ways to show that special someone how much you really care on that one day of the year declared I love you day. There are lots creative ideas for creating romance without spending lots of money such as Make your own chocolate covered strawberries. Dip strawberries in dark, milk, or white chocolate and cover them in sprinkles, chocolate chips, cinnamon, or cookie crumbs. You can also leave them plain for a more classic take. Lay them out on a nice tray in the bedroom, living room, or kitchen and enjoy them together I love Valentines day with all this positive energy of love and romance and caring. If all else fails you could Spend time together. Whether you plan a weekend getaway to a resort and spa or just plan a night alone on the couch, the most important thing you can give to the person you love is your time and attention. Let them know that no matter what you’re doing together, they are the most important person in the world. A friend recently told me that he sent a gift basket to his wife last year for Valentine’s day and she loved it because it contained things that you don’t find in most stores. Great gourmet chocolates, flavored nuts, wine, olives and more great chocolate. It made him look really good and this very romantic holiday. I could have sent him a Valentine's Gift For Your Men. Show your man you care with this classy upscale gold and black striped gourmet gift box. It's filled with all his favorite snacks and a small teddy bear that say's 'I love you more than Chocolate!', Honey roasted peanuts, beef jerky, Chocolove milk chocolate bar, cheddar cheese, crackers, beef summer sausage, buttered popcorn, tortilla chips, medium salsa, chocolate chip cookies, and cinnamon bears. Baskets to Say Merry Christmas from Colorado
As a Colorado Native, I have had my share of white Christmases. I pity people who have never experienced that first hand. Christmas embellishments always seem more suitable when laid behind a snowy white backdrop. Although snow is not required to have a merry Christmas, good food is a necessity! A number of my favorite Christmas snacks are hot cocoa, toffee and caramels, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, popcorn, candy canes, cheese and sausage, hot coffee, and baked goods. The best thing about all of these treats is that even if I don’t have the ability to prepare them myself, there are a multitude of great Colorado businesses which make all these Christmas goodies not far from where I live. When I need a pick me up to get me in the Christmas mood or a swift gift to bring with me to a Christmas party, give to my friends and family out of state, or want a merry table topper for my Christmas table, I visit www.basketsbyrita.com and purchase their Colorado Christmas Basket. Fruit for Thought A Stress Relief Gift
Fruit for Thought Only one third of all American adults consume two or more servings of fruit per day. When I think of all my favorite fruits: raspberries, kiwis, cherries, blueberries, persimmons, etc, etc, etc. I think it’s such a shame that more people don’t appreciate the simple beneficial goodness of fruit. Fruit is not only part of a wholesome diet, but it is nature’s candy. Fruit contains a fraction of the calories of your average candy bar, contains enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that are not contained in a candy bar, and is all around more nutritive while still able to satisfy that sugary sweet tooth. Fruit consumption is also advantageous for weight loss. It supplies energy, water, lessens the risk of heart disease and some types of cancer, and can slow down the aging process. Who wouldn’t want to eat more fruit after learning these facts? Next time you have a chance to send a gift, why not deliver a fruit basket? If you’re going to provide someone sweets, why not give the gift of wellness as well? At Baskets By Rita, we bundle the freshest, most attractive fruit available into our Stress Relief Gift Basket. Our Stress Relief Gift Basket is the perfect gift to send as a tax accountant gift, CPA gift, tax survival gift, bar exam or just corporate stress relief gift. Not only will we guarantee that your gift will be visually pleasing, but it will be loaded full of tender, ripe, sweetness! All of our fruit baskets are made up of seasonal fruits such as apples, bananas, pears, and other assorted fruits. We are eager to customize any of our baskets to our customers’ specifications, so if you have something in particular that you want, be sure to let us know. Gift That Create an At home spa treatment
After a long week of work and classes I am ready for a restful weekend at home. But we all know that the possibility of me planning a weekend full of spa like therapy and peace and quiet is rarely probable. Despite the fact that I’m not working I always end up with a number of errands that’s stacked up over the course of the week, a house to clean, and a bundle of other various projects that slip themselves into my schedule somehow. Even though I might be able to talk someone into giving me a five minute back rub, I don’t think I’ll have time for a manicure and a massage. In our world where we live such busy lives, it is nearly impossible to slink away for an hour or two let alone a whole day to just forget about our hectic lives and take a little ‘me’ time. Where I can perhaps fit in a trip to the tanning salon or a waxing appointment once a month, it’s by no means enough to help me feel as if I’ve actually treated myself. When a holiday or a birthday comes around and someone asks me what I want, the first thing that comes to mind is “money” or “a new pair of scissors.” Although these may be prudent gifts, they are essentials and purchasing these necessities doesn’t require much sympathy. A gift should be something you want, not a thing you need. Sometimes we forget our own merit and we need a friend to speak up and remind us to spend some time on our self. A gift should encourage you to take care of yourself, not help you run yourself further into the ground. Even though I can say I wouldn’t have much spare time to arrange a spa appointment even if I received a gift card, I have a few home remedies that will do the trick almost as well. When I find a friend has been working too much and needs a little love, I order them a spa basket from Baskets By Rita to remind them to take some time for their self. Baskets By Rita fills their baskets full of high quality spa products for an all inclusive, at home full body treatment. The Relaxation Gift Basket is a great example of the varieties of products Baskets By Rita includes. This beautiful spring gift basket has everything she'll need to relax and pamper herself. A fresh vanilla citrus scent will relax and invigorate! A keepsake woven basket is the perfect tub side ccessory. This relaxation gift basket is wrapped in cello and tied with a citrus green bow. Available in different prices and you can even add champagne. . A bath and body gift is the perfect gift basket for any woman. If you know someone who could use some spoiling and needs an excuse to take some time for their self, send them a Baskets By Rita pamper basket to tell them they’re worth a little extra special care. Give the Gift of Beer
Going back as early as 7,000 BC beer has been enjoyed by people all around the world since its discovery. While methods and recipes have transformed over time and geography, the basic principles of fermentation and malting are a fascinating scientific invention. But let’s not get so technical! We get it. Beer has been around for centuries and people like it! In fact, for much of human history, alcohol was favored over water, since water purification techniques had not been developed. Can you imagine a world where it is healthier to chug a few beers than to subdue your thirst with water? Try using that excuse next time you stumble home after drinking one too many! Although in modern America we tend to think of beer among the “backyard barbeque” category more than the "fancy dinner party" experience, in ancient times beer was the preferred drink of Egyptian Pharaohs. Countries such as Germany and Belgium are proud of their hundreds of breweries and take the craft of brewing very seriously. Try purchasing a beer in a Belgian supermarket. You will literally have hundreds of varieties! In the United States local breweries are becoming more and more popular. As a result, beer is becoming more popular in higher class social circles and has earned the status of wine in some markets. Take Colorado for instance. Colorado has the most breweries per capita of any U.S. state and I think beer is without a doubt the preferred alcoholic beverage of Coloradoans. As with wine, breweries and particular restaurants have started pairing beer with certain foods for a finer dining experience. After thousands of years of experimentation and alteration, there is an endless assortment of beers available around the world, and new beers are still being created. When giving a gift, why not consider including this time honored refreshment? A beer gifts basket from Baskets By Rita is a fresh and distinctive gift for any occasion. We can customize any beer basket to contain your choice of beers or a variety chosen by our basket making, beer loving experts. We also fill our beer baskets with a array of snacks such as cheese, crackers, chips and salsa, nuts, summer sausage, and popcorn. Take for example our Beer Gift Basket. This is the perfect Beer gift for that special guy or gal who enjoys great beer. Our heavy willow basket is filled with a 6 pack of your favorite Colorado Micro brew, chip and salsa, assorted nuts, beef jerky, snack bites, trail mix, crackers, beer cheese and more. Send our Beer Gift Basket filled with everything needed to celebrate their special day. If browsing this post has made your thirsty for more, why not take my advice and sign onto and find yourself a beer basket? Give Gift of Fine White Wine
Give the Gift of Fine Wine
All through human history, wine has been a celebratory drink enjoyed in both social and religious events and rituals. For millenia wine has been savored for pleasure, celebration, and religious purposes. Wine was historically thought to have medicinal properties and red wine is confirmed to be good for heart health. Although not all societies drank wine for leisure, almost every world culture has a wine history whether used as drink or medicine. In my life, wine is ideal for festivity, relaxation, and from time to time, as medicine. This fact alone makes wine the perfect gift for any occasion. When I need a gift when visiting a friend’s home, as a housewarming gift, or in order to say “thank you,” wine is my first choice. Wine is not only a stylish gift, but it’s easy to pair with appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. Enjoyed in high class social groups, wine pairings and tastings are a great way to network and mingle with friends. What a great occasion to socialize and learn a thing or two as well!
Recently, I found myself in charge of planning out a rather large social event. In all the confusion of making arrangements, I forgot to notify one of the event sponsors of a change in date. The day before the show, we realized the problem when I answered a phone call from the sponsor. On account of the miscommunication, they were unable to be involved in the event and had blocked time out of their schedule in vain. My initial response in apology was to send the sponsor a wine and cheese basket from Baskets By Rita. For $150 I was able to send them a basket packed with an assortment of red and white wines, cookies, an assortment of cheeses, smoked salmon, gourmet crackers, summer sausage, olives, dried fruits, caramel corn, candy, snack mix, fine chocolates, mixed nuts, and more. I felt that this would be a gift that could be shared among all of their employees and I hoped it would convey my apologies for the mix up. I would endorse a Baskets By Rita wine basket for any occasion for which wine is appropriate. Whether you need to say thank you, send a housewarming gift, apologize, or present a gift when visiting a friend, Baskets By Rita has the perfect wine basket some of which are Chardonnay White Wine Basket for the occasion. We include your choice of white wine along with a compliment of assorted munchies including: Chardonnay Havarti Cheese spread, Beef Summer Sausage, Gourmet Crackers, Smoked Gouda Cheese, Trail Mix, Caramel corn, triple chocolate cookies, Chocolove dark chocolate bar, snack mix and milk chocolate truffles. White wine baskets make great welcome gifts, wedding gifts, hostess gifts and more. Visit their wine basket page to see their many designs and selections.

Have A Gourmet Christmas Holiday Gift
In many societies across the world, Christmas is a time to indulge. Societies throughout the globe honor Christmas as a time for bountiful indulgence. As the largest commercial holiday of the year, stores start selling Christmas products and playing the Christmas songs as soon as Thanksgiving is over and sometimes sooner! Major department stores including Sachs Fifth Avenue and Macy’s design stunning window displays portraying signs of Christmas in a glitz and glam presentation of glitter, snow, and red and green striped candy canes. Even countries like Japan, which is not considered a Christian country, take on the holiday spirit and stock up on presents for the Christmas season. I guess the spirit of giving is irresistible even when separated from its religious origins. The spirit of indulgence which Christmas brings upon us is not only extended to the gifts we give, but it branches out to encompass the decorations we see all over town and best of all, the food we relish! Have you ever driven through neighborhoods at night just to gaze at all of the Christmas lights on front lawns and roof tops? And how many times have you given yourself a tummy ache with all the Christmas treats you ate at the holiday cookie exchange? These Christmas traditions are created throughout the years in order to give us something to look forward to in the dead of winter.
Christmas is a time to celebrate life. In a religious context, Christmas is a celebration of the birth of God’s son on Earth, Jesus Christ. Even people who are not religious choose Christmas as a time to celebrate the presence of their loved ones in their life. Christmas is a time for gourmet living as I have said before. Everything from the food you eat to the decorations you put up to the gifts you give suggests the essence of the holiday, but they are not free of cost. In hard economic times, we find individuals cutting back on their Christmas spending and making crucial sacrifices to save money. Some people decide to buy a fake tree to save themselves the price of purchasing a new one every year. Other people buy energy saving Christmas lights in order to have a smaller energy bill at the end of the month. And some people choose to relinquish bringing home the ready made honey baked ham and to roast a chicken at home instead. However your family decides to save money this year, there is no reason why you should have to decrease your gift giving just to save money. Have a gourmet Christmas
In many societies throughout the globe, Christmas is a time to indulge. Civilizations across the globe celebrate Christmas as an occasion for luxurious indulgence. As the top commercial holiday of the year, stores begin offering Christmas products and streaming the Jingle Bell music as soon as Thanksgiving is over and sometimes earlier! Major department stores just like Sachs Fifth Avenue and Macy’s design brilliant window displays illustrating images of Christmas in a glitz and glam exhibit of glitter, snow, and red and green striped candy canes. Even countries like Japan, which is not acknowledged as a Christian country, find the holiday spirit and load up on presents for the Christmas season. I guess the spirit of giving is irresistible even when divided from its religious origins. The spirit of indulgence which Christmas brings upon us is not only extended to the gifts we give, but it branches out to encompass the decorations we see all through town and most of all, the food we eat! Have you ever driven through neighborhoods at night just to gaze at all of the Christmas lights on front lawns and roof tops? And how many times have you given yourself a tummy ache with all the Christmas treats you ate at the Christmas cookie exchange? These are all components of Christmas which have become a tradition and they are all about delivering joy to our lives in the gloomiest part of the year.
Christmas is a time to celebrate life. In a religious context, Christmas is a celebration of the birth of God’s son on Earth, Jesus Christ. Even those who are not Christian have embraced Christmas for the feeling of togetherness it conveys to friends and families. Christmas is a time for gourmet living as I have said before. Everything from the dishes you eat to the decorations you hang to the gifts you give displays the spirit of the holiday, but they are not free of cost. In hard economic times, we find individuals cutting back on their Christmas spending and making required sacrifices to save money. Some people prefer to buy a fake tree to save themselves the expense of buying a new one every year. Others buy energy efficient Christmas lights in order to have a smaller energy bill at the end of the year. And some people choose to relinquish purchasing the store bought honey baked ham and to cook a chicken at home instead. No matter how your family prefers to save money this holiday season, there is no reason why you should have to cut down on your gift giving just to make ends meet. At Baskets By Rita, we are dedicated to giving you the most for your money. Not only do our baskets ship worldwide, but they have the lavish appearance you need to express your wishes for a gourmet Christmas. Packed with gourmet delicacies of all sorts ranging from wine to chocolate to cheese and crackers, our baskets invite their owners to indulge. Our Holiday Bath Gift Basket comes in several different price levels to meet your particular gift giving specifications. A perfect gift for that special lady at the holidays. Our red faux leather and sea grass container includes a luxurious bath pillow, Body Eclipse citrus lotion, citrus bath gel, exfoliating body polish, hand lotion, shower gel, scented votive candles and glass holder, a net bath sponge, a foot and nail brush, Spa Essentials peppermint foot and leg gel, and a fragrant sachet. A high quality gift you will be proud to give! She will relax and rejuvenate this busy holiday season. As you say Merry Christmas this holiday season, remember us as an economical solution to your gift giving needs with our Christmas holiday gift baskets.

Fresh Fruit With Cheese What a Gift Idea!
Now that we are half way through the summer months, we start to look ahead to the fall. With the changing of the leaves, the chilling of the air, and the shortening of the days, we are reminded of the coming of winter and the end of a new year. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Autumn itself has many of its own assets. For thousands of years, autumn has been the time of year to enjoy the harvest and the gift of food. representations such as pumpkins, gourds, and brightly colored leaves are traditional in the United States as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day and Halloween. As the days get shorter and cooler, we draw our attention from the bleakness of the season and distract ourselves with celebrations of friends, family and food, reflecting on the things we’re thankful for. Wouldn’t it be nice to show up to Thanksgiving Dinner this year with a little something more than the conventional salad or loaf of bread to share? Or how would you like to surprise your distant relatives with a seasonal treat that says “I’m thinking of you and I’m thankful to have you in my life.”
Baskets By Rita has the perfect gift to share around the table or to send to those special people you love in this time of thanks. Our fruit and cheese gift basket is a great gift for almost anyone. We start with our split willow and rope weave basket and add a nice assortment of seasonal fruit, cheeses, crackers, individually wrapped chocolates and nuts. It's the perfect healthy choice. Send our fruit basket as a birthday gift, get well gift, condolence basket or welcome gift. Choose 2nd day air when shipping this basket outside Colorado. This fruit and healthy gift basket is a fun way for you to bring the gift of good food to your family and friends now matter how close or far away! As the summer sun fades making way for the crisp, cool air of autumn, remember those you are thankful for in your life and give them their own little part of the fall harvest!

Fruit and Cheese A Perfect Pair
Autumn is a nice time of the year to create a new gift basket. Since it's harvest time for apples we have resolved to highlight many variations of apples. Our container for this basket is an old looking bushel basket. We packed it with caramel apple popcorn, sunflower seeds with dried apples and caramel bit in a snack mix assortment, cranberry cheddar cheese and apple cider just to record a few of the fine tasting goodies. The naming of these seasonal offering is always enjoyable so we came up with our Fruit and Cheese gift basket and our Autumn Gourmet Gift Basket.
So you question yourself why would I ship Autumn gift basket and to whom would I send it? I would advocate sending one as a birthday gift basket, anniversary gift basket, corporate thank you gift or even as a condolence gift or a funeral gift basket as a replacement for flowers. These seasonal foods are great for celebrating the season.
Our objective is to have a new gift basket on our web site at least ever other week so come back often to check us out. Some stay on for a long time and some just come and go like the seasons. Some baskets are motivated by the season some by holidays and others by great tasting new product introductions.

Spa Pamper Her Gifts for Birthday and Beyond
Happy birthday gift baskets to show you haven't forgotten special people in your life.
Happy Birthday to me Happy Birthday to me. Do you ever feel like almost everyone has forgotten your birthday this year. Well I always remind myself that I would be surprised at how little other people think about me. It is one of those ridiculous things that makes you feel especially unimportant. Sad to say it is oh so true.
I think that being dreadfully busy is a curse when it comes to taking special care of key friendships. Time passes so hastily and the next thing you know you have let pass that friend, family member or top business associate’s milestone birthday. It is perhaps too uncomfortable to send a gift late, so you vow that it won't happen when their birthday comes around next year. That is why basketsbyrita has created so many awesome choices for a happy birthday gift that will make gift giving easy for busy people to quickly send a birthday gift baskets. Bereavement Gift Instead of Flowers
Funeral gift etiquette
When you first become aware that someone has passed away, your first instinct is to send a gift to the deceased’s family in their time of grief, but make sure you know and follow good funeral gift etiquette according to their culture. There is a variety of gifts that you might consider sending to the sorrowful family that will ease their pain and send the message that your thoughts are with them in their time of hardship.
Food: Perhaps the most welcome gift during a time of grief is that of food. Whether you have meals delivered or drop by with a casserole, the message is that you are caring of the family’s loss. However, be insightful about intruding on the family’s time when bringing the gift. A brief visit of about 15 minutes is appropriate to deliver the food and express condolences. Proper funeral gift etiquette for food is to offer items that require little preparation, such as a sympathy gift basket or a comfort food gift basket. Even if you judge that many people will bring food, your bereavement gift basket will last of many weeks without being opened since all the items are shelf stable.
Flowers: The most widespread funeral gift is flowers. Before you send any, find out if there are certain conditions for memoral service flowers depending on the religious affiliation of the deceased. For example, Jewish funeral traditions don’t integrate flowers while other gifts are considered more fitting. Others, such as Hindus or Muslims, don’t consider funeral flowers as traditional, but the gesture may be seen as caring by certain groups. Funeral flowers for a Catholic, LDS or Buddhist funerals are correct and welcomed. Consult a florist if you have any doubts, they will be well versed in varioustraditions for funerals.
Gifts to Charity: Memorial gifts are a popular custom that allows money that would normally be spent on expensive floral arrangements to be chosen for a specific organization, charity or event. By and large, the family will publish a preferred charity in the funeral announcement and request donations in lieu of gifts. Don’t breach funeral gift etiquette by sending flowers if the family has specifically asked not to.
After the Funeral: Funeral gift etiquette also allows friends and family members to send a fruit and cheese gift basket in the days and years following a loss. A sincere card or memento on the anniversary of the death sends the message that you care about family members and remember their loss. Even visiting with family members a few weeks after the funeral with a meal or a potted plant can have a big impact on the grieving heart.
Funeral gift etiquette suggests that family members send a thank you card for the bereavement gift baskets or services they received during a time of grief, don’t be offended if you don’t receive one at all or if it arrives several weeks or months after the funeral. When someone is dealing with grief, time can slip by hastily.

One way of shielding and growing the human part of a company is grabbing the opportunity to identify the people who make the everyday operations happen. “During my corporate career at HP, Ilearned that an important part of acquiring a company was making sure that the important employees felt valued and would remain loyal because they were the company,” elaborated Van Woerkom. “Gift baskets are a great way to recognize the “administrative professionals.”

Birthday and Beer Celebration
Have you ever considered looking at the notion of pairing beer with good food? This doesn't mean that you go out and find a great brat and cook it in your best beer either. I am even suggesting that you go beyond pizza and burgers too. Try out some of the following ideas! You might find that there is more than one way to take pleasure in a fine bottle of beer.
Cheese is one food that is mostly associated with wines and champagne. Discover how good a nice brie tastes with a fine wheat beer. Apples like Gravensteins is another winning pairing with a Belgian ale. There are the ester, or fruity, characteristics that are frequently found in apple or pear-like fruit while the truffle honey harmonizes with the slight honey notes Belgian ales are known to have. Also, the flavors of gouda cheese compliment the Brett characters that are found in the beer. Some American wild ale loosely bear a resemblance to top-fermenting beers that have been purposefully introduced to fermenting agents beyond the classic assortment of beer yeasts, sometimes replacing them altogether. Strains of wild yeasts such as Brettanomyces, along with the lactic acid-producing bacteria such as Lactobacillus and Pediococcus, which are usually considered contaminants in beer and wine making circles. They are used to deliver distinctive sensory profiles by brewers who are willing to take risks as to both the changeableness of the results and the perception of the public.
The company Baskets by Rita offers an assortment of beer baskets and beer tub gifts, birthday and beer gifts online as gifts to those beer authority . Their gifts are designed in useful containers that are functional when the goodies are being consumed and after they are gone. "Our beer tub gift is our most popular beer gift this year", say VanWoerkom, owner of the company.

Gifts With Wine So They Won't Whine!
Christmas Holiday Gift Baskets what a mouth full
Christmas is a very accepted time of year for many businesses to give presents. Many businesses follow, what I believe, is a very smart option by avoiding anything that has religious implications. That means that the gifts they award will not include the words Christmas or will they use the words Merry Christmas in their card. A company wants to give a gift that will be remembered and appreciated. This time of year is so emotionally charged with the feeling of another year gone by and reflection on the year as a whole. There is also optimism about the coming year too. The corporate holiday gift is an important way for companies to say thank you for your business and along with that is the trust there will be a feeling of loyalty for sustained business. A Christmas holiday gift basket is an exceptional choice for a business. A Christmas gift basket is great since everyone enjoys tasty food. However, take your time and choose wisely many gift baskets are quickly put together and contain foods that you can purchase in any grocery store. You want the presentation to be attractive and the food to taste fantastic. Otherwise the gift basket, which is a image of your business, will create a feeling of quick dismissive. Giving gifts automatically creates a kind of social obligation to want to do something for the person.
Business often times give wine gift baskets and beer basket at the holidays. I would encourage doing that only if you know the client well and you are confident that the alcohol will be cherished. Corporate holiday wine baskets come in all sizes and themes so corporate gifts can be selectedchosen to suggest the hierarchy of the recipient. This choice might also be driven by the amount of the group the gift basket is intended for. It often times is more gainful to gift a single gift to the team instead of one small one for each person. The choice is yours.

Baskets Filled By Easter Bunnies?
Easter celebrates Jesus Christ’s resurrection, making it the most essential of all Christian holy days. However, today the meaning of the holiday is obscured by painted eggs and bunnies. Easter can fall anytime between March 22 and April 25 since is occurs the first Sunday after the full moon. Easter is also coupled to the Jewish Passover in symbolism and it’s position in the calendar.
Now what about the rabbit and the eggs? Well the rabbit is a well know sexual symbol of fertility. Religions coupled with Babel connect the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar. The Mother Goddess Semiramis (Easter) is connected with the moon. Therefore, the Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother Goddess and is connected with annual Spring time fertility rituals worshiping the Mother Goddess.
Colored Easter eggs are a part of the festivities too that came from the egg which was a sacred symbol among the Babylonians. The believed that a amazing size egg fell from heaven into the Euphrates River from which the Goddess Semiramis was hatched.
It makes you wonder how many of us truly think about the exact meaning of this holiday other than the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It has become another retail holiday and very commercialized. However, it is a time for families to join and celebrate the day. Kids love Easter for the gifts, candy and most of all the egg hunting which could take on a life of it’s own. Family member that are separated by geography many times send Easter bunnies and eggs gift baskets to their family members. Grandparents send Filled Easter baskets for Kids to grandchildren. Daughter and sons send Family Easter Basket to parents and siblings far away. These Easter food baskets contain candy, plastic eggs filled with goodies, cheese, crackers, brunch items and more

Easter Bunnies and Eggs What's The Meaning
Easter celebrates Jesus Christ’s resurrection, making it the most essential of all Christian holy days. However, today the meaning of the holiday is hidden by painted eggs and bunnies. Easter can fall anytime between March 22 and April 25 since is occurs the first Sunday following the full moon. Easter is also related to the Jewish Passover in symbolism and it’s place in the calendar.
How does the rabbit and the eggs fit in? Well the rabbit is a well know sexual character of fertility. Religions associated with Babel associate the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar. The Mother Goddess Semiramis (Easter) is connected with the moon. Therefore, the Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother Goddess and is connected with annual Spring time fertility rituals worshiping the Mother Goddess.
Colored Easter eggs are a part of the festivities too that came from the egg which was a consecrated symbol among the Babylonians. The believed that a amazing size egg fell from heaven into the Euphrates River from which the Goddess Semiramis was hatched.
With all that said not many of us really think too hard about the proper meaning of this holiday other than the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It has developed into another retail holiday and very commercialized. On the other hand, it is a time for families to join and celebrate the day.
Kids love Easter for the gifts, candy and most of all the egg hunting which could take on a life of it’s own. Family member that are separated by geography many times send Easter baskets to their loved ones. Grandparents send Filled Easter baskets for Kids to grandchildren. Daughter and sons send Family Easter Basket to parents and siblings far away. These Easter food baskets contain candy, plastic eggs filled with goodies, cheese, crackers, brunch items and more.

De-Stress Through Gifts
Most years starts out on a high note, most have their resolutions either writtendown or at minimum in their heads. This time of reflection on the year before gives us a perception of what we would like to adjustin the future. Change is always excellent but hard to embrace and to create. As the employee accountable forperks for the employees I find it demanding to purchase the right gifts that comprise the correct product for the right occasion that will please the the greater part. We all know that nothing is perfect so it goes with gifts. I call it one size fits all which really means some will love and others will be mildly impressed.
I have learn that there are people out there better matched to make these design decisions than I am. I have been working with Basketsbyrita.com for many years now and the are the experts.
They write the following:
Many companies employ over worked over stressed employees that they count on to lead the company through these rough times. These employees are the future successors that are tasked with the goal to finish projects, pass the bar exam or perhaps taking on additional duties where others have had to be let go. These folks have earned a little TLC periodically. If they are the new lawyer studying for the bar exam send them a stress relief gift basket or survival gift basket as a bar exam gift the week prior to the exam along with a note stating ‘hang in there we are rooting for you’. If it a project in it’s final stages send the survival basket to their home to say “we appreciate all your extra efforts to keep the project on schedule.
Thegood this gift and message send far out way the dollars spent on these gifts. Statistics show that 60% of employees leave a company because they did not feel valued. Having working in HR for a large corporation I appreciate what it takes to keep employees fulfilled. Most of all I have learned that relationships are critical to the success of any corporation.
